Young Adults Getting a Job

For so many young people in the workforce it is becoming very difficult to find a job in the recession. When a company becomes so picky as to require the maximum degree possible, three plus years of experience, wonderful references and even a perfect resume it becomes a competition for the working people. Even college students coming out of college are having hard times finding a job. Adults are taking kids jobs at fast food restaurants to, at Taco Bell we had many adults come looking for a job. A father brought his whole family and all were working at Taco Bell just to survive. They came from Florida and he was a construction worker who couldn't afford to support his family anymore since his job was failing him. No more construction jobs were available so both daughters started working at Taco Bell. Two other teenagers brother and sister were working there since both dropped out of high school. Their families as well struggling with the economy. It has become so hard for many people to find decent jobs and filling out applications better be something you get used to because many are not even hiring at all. One biology teacher even sent out over 200 applications and never was called back. How hard is it to find a job with all this technology and jobs are being sent over seas to cheaper labor. Where we can start up a business in China and pay those people as little as two dollars a day and then make huge profits. Selfish ambition is driving American jobs to other countries. It is even hard for me to find a job. As hard as I've tried I cannot find one. I have sent out applications all over and no one even calls. My application is filled out and I printed out several copies of it to hand out to different places with no luck whatsoever. Now I am wondering whether the people who have these jobs know how lucky they are to even have a job and that many college students would willingly take their place. I have applied at The Bean, The calling center and to be lobby person. All these spots are filled and it makes one wonder if the person you are handing your application is trustworthy to give it to the manager or just rip it up so that they can have less competition. It would be an easy feat for an employee to throw away an application of someone in search of a job so that they will not have to work harder.
All this had made me so angry and now I want to start my own business to make money. Someway I will have to find out what I can possibly sell to college students and if I can even make some sort of profit. I would love to think of something smart to sell to these students here.
